AEQUIPA

Physical activity is a key contributor to healthy ageing. In spite of the widely known beneficial effects, only a small proportion of older adults are physically active. AEQUIPA is a regional prevention research network comprising six universities, two research institutes and the health economy organisation of the Bremen-Oldenburg metropolitan region. The network's core themes are promoting physical activity among older adults (65+).

NFDI4Health Services Showcase (Part 1)

NFDI4Health is building an infrastructure that not only makes health research data accessible, but also ensures that it can be effectively integrated into research practice. This Open Friday Lecture will present two NFDI4Health key services: the Health Study Hub and the Helpdesk.

NFDI4Health develops and operates a technical infrastructure for FAIR health data. Its aim is to make health research data findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable, while ensuring compliance with data protection requirements and ethical standards. In addition to providing technical solutions, NFDI4Health supports researchers through consultancy, support and training services. To familiarise the research community with these offerings, NFDI4Health is presenting its services in a series of events.

This session will focus on two key services. The first is the Health Study Hub, a platform for discovering health-related research data and study information. The second is the NFDI4Health Helpdesk, the central point of contact for advice and support on research data management. Participants will gain insights into the functionality and practical applications of these services, experience live demonstrations, and have the opportunity to put their questions directly to our experts. Further sessions introducing additional NFDI4Health services will follow.
